Thank you for visiting the Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre - Dundee Website.

Women's Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre is a local organisation covering Dundee, Angus, Perthshire and Fife. We provide free and confidential support services to women and girls aged 13 years and over who have been raped, sexually abused or sexually exploited at any time in their life.

We welcome all service users, staff and volunteers who identify as women, irrespective of religion, race, age, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity or disability.

We Offer a range of different services including, one to one support; support by letter or e-mail; Support groups; Support to family, friend and partners of survivors via our helpline; Support and information to workers from any agency supporting survivors; Fact packs and information on issues relating to rape, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation; Training for agencies (please note there may be a charge for this); Personal safety training and self defence sessions for women's groups; Training for women who want to volunteer

We aim to offer an Introductory Meeting, to the service, within 2/3 weeks after which you may be required to wait on a support worker becoming available. Waiting times for a support worker may vary.

Although we do not charge for the service WRASAC depends on funding and charitable donations to provide and develop its’ services.

WRASAC is a woman only organisation exempt under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010
